Cachesweep is an offline, local-first macOS utility designed to scan and clean cache directories (DerivedData, Gradle, npm, simulator runtimes, etc.) on your Mac:

  • No Code or File Scanning Telemetry: Cachesweep does not read, upload, or transmit your private project files, source code, build contents, or directory paths to any remote server.
  • All Cleaning is Strictly Local: Disk calculation and deletion occur solely on your local machine using standard macOS APIs.
  • License Verification: When you activate a Pro license, your license key and an anonymized device identifier (e.g. machine host name) are transmitted over secure HTTPS to our payment and licensing processors (Gumroad / Lemon Squeezy) strictly to verify entitlement and prevent key abuse.

3. Information Collected on Our Website

When browsing our website, we may collect minimal technical information:

  • Contact Inquiries: If you submit an inquiry through our contact form, email, or WhatsApp, we collect your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to your request.
